Has the cleaning work been completed yet?

On January 7, 2025, Petroperú completed the main cleanup activities on the impacted beaches, managing to recover 9.05 barrels of light waste at sea and on land with the support of more than 350 people, 10 vessels and specialized machinery. These tasks have been supervised by the Environmental Assessment and Monitoring Agency (OEFA).

The company reaffirms its commitment to environmental protection and, in coordination with the competent authorities, implements additional measures to prevent future incidents.
