What actions have been taken with the community?

On December 27, 2024, Petroperú, in conjunction with the District Municipality of Lobitos, installed a dialogue table with the participation of local authorities, representatives of the fishermen’s guilds and the community, with the aim of addressing the concerns expressed after the event that occurred at the Talara Refinery submarine terminal.

Since its installation, Petroperú has continuously complied with the commitments assumed, reaffirming its firm willingness to open and transparent dialogue.

The company continues to report in detail on the progress of cleaning and environmental monitoring, strictly complying with the regulatory procedures established by the supervisory bodies, with the commitment to ensure the well-being of the community and the care of the environment.

In the same way, Petroperú has signed agreements with the fishermen’s guilds of Talara, La Brea – Negritos and Cabo Blanco, which it has been complying with.
